Kate Black
CEO and Founder, Atomik AM Ltd
Professor Kate Black FREng is the CEO and founder of Atomik AM Ltd and a Professor of Manufacturing at the University of Liverpool. A leading expert in additive manufacturing, she specializes in developing novel functional materials for 3D printing. She co-founded Meta Additive in 2019 before launching Atomik AM. In recognition of her contributions, she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2024. She is also an advocate for diversity in STEM, actively supporting initiatives like the Liverpool Women in Science and Engineering society.
